It took almost a week, but the parts arrived from DigiKey

Because I was using an exact replacement, it was an easy job to solder in the new part. I added extra solder to the PCB traces. The PSU is only 12V 0.4A, but every little bit helps.

I powered it up on my workbench and it was now putting out a 12V signal, so time to put it back in the fridge.

Unfortunately It had been a week since disassembly and I didn’t take photos of it, so it was a bit of a challenge working out how things went back together. Dust ended up being helpful to work out which way was up!

I stood it up, waited 1/2 an hour for the refirgerant to settle and power it up.
